The POCO F1 currently has two colour variants available for buying – Steel Blue and Graphite Black. The third colour variant, namely the Rosso Red hasn’t been around. The special Armored edition of the phone with Kevlar has also been announced to come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM. Now, the company has been teasing the Rosso Red edition a lot which basically means that it could arrive on sale soon.
The rear cameras of the POCO F1 are also somewhat red in colour and this variant blends in with them perfectly. All the specifications and features of this colour variant are the same as the Steel Blue and Graphite Black. Let’s refresh our memories a little about them.
POCO F1: specifications
The POCO F1 by Xiaomi has a 6.18-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2246p. The aspect ratio of the display is 18:9 and hence, one cannot find thick bezels on the phone. The rest is taken care of by the notch which helps in increasing the screen-to-body ratio of the phone to 82.13 per cent. The notch is somewhat similar to the iPhone X.
The device has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor under its hood and yes, you’re right. It is the cheapest phone on the market with the processor. The RAM on the phone is 6GB while there are two options for ROM – 64GB and 128GB. Camera-wise, the phone is good enough as it has a 12MP + 5MP setup on the back with a Dual LED Flash. The selfie snapper on the POCO F1 has a 20MP sensor as well. The fingerprint sensor is placed just below the vertical dual rear camera setup.
The POCO F1 runs on a huge 4000mAh battery which is more than enough to last a day of use. It also has a support for Quick Charge 3.0 and USB Type-C. The device sells for Rs 20,000 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant. The price for the 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM variant is Rs 23.000.
