Realme has managed to get passed the established smartphone brands in India and taste success in its short span of less than a year. Today, the brand has launched yet another handset in India dubbed as Realme 3. It is said to be the successor to the Realme 2. And will go up against Redmi Note 7 in India. Realme 3 specs
Powered by an Helio P70, which is a MediaTek processor built on a 12nm process and clock speed of 2.1 GHz. It will be coming in two configurations. The one where it will have a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, second would sport a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
The company has incorporated a 6.2-inch HD+ resolution screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is a dewdrop notch design with a corning gorilla glass protection and a 2.05mm narrow frame. It weighs at 175g and has a thickness of 8.3mm.
Let’s talk about the camera department, it is supported by a dual rear camera setup with 13MP + 2MP resolutions. With an f/1.8 aperture of the primary lens with PDAF fast focusing. The company teases a lot of camera features including Chroma Boost and NightScape mode. It also offers portrait mode and hybrid HDR shooting. The rear cameras can currently record up to 1080p resolution videos.
On the selfie front, it offers a 13MP resolution lens with 1.12-micron pixels and f/2.0 aperture size. The selfie camera is supported by AI beautification, HDR, and AI Facial Unlock. Talking about the connectivity features, it will have a Bluetooth 4.2v support, dual SIM, dual VoLTE, and micro USB port.
The company touts the large 4230 mAh capacity battery with the support of 5V 2A charging. It isn’t a fast charging in case you’re wondering. The Realme 3 would be running on the latest ColorOS 6.0 based on the Android 9 Pie. The company teases Camera2 API access, Bootloader, and Google lens support on its new Realme 3 smartphone. It has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear.
Realme 3 price in India
The newly released handset will go on sale for Rs 8,999 for 3GB+ 32GB and Rs 10,999 for 4GB + 64GB on Flipkart. The first sale starts on March 12 at 12 PM. It will be available in three colour variants including Dynamic Black, Radiant Blue, and Black. Note that this is introductory pricing valid for the first 1 million units. The company has also launched three of its Iconic cases for the Realme 3, price starting at Rs 599. Further, the company has teased that its Realme 3 Pro would be coming to India in April, which would directly compete with the Redmi Note 7 Pro.
