Update, March 5, 15:00: Chief Product Officer of Realme, Levi Lee tweeted on the day when Xiaomi revealed its Remi Note 7 Pro. Four days ahead of Realme 3 launch, which happened yesterday, we might have been exposed to the Realme 3 Pro processor information. Missed out in the realm of mobile launches happening in India, and rumoured specs popping, this tweet from Realme official executive suggests that the company might introduce a Snapdragon 710 processor on its next, i.e. Realme 3 Pro.
SD675 is better than SD710? LMAO Go to check a heavy 3D game experience.

Today, Realme 3 has been launched in India for introductory pricing of Rs 8,999. The company claims that it directly competes with Xiaomi’s recently announced Redmi Note 7, which retails in India at Rs 9,999. Now if you’re one of those Realme fans who are more interested in the Pro variant of the handset. Then, the company has some good news for you. The young smartphone maker has confirmed the existence of Realme 3 Pro. Further, the brand has gone ahead and shared that it would be revealing the model in April. Of course, the date hasn’t been shared, but there is something to look forward.
Realme 3 Pro: A 48MP rear camera phone?
Earlier in January the company’s CEO Madhav Seth shared that Realme is working on to bring a handset with the 48MP rear camera. This could probably the Realme 3 Pro, as the brand has announced its coming in April. It would be interesting to see how it fairs out to the Redmi Note 7 Pro, which is the only 48MP rear camera-enabled handset in sub Rs 15,000.
It even trumps Honor’s View 20 in terms of the pricing, which was hailed as the true 48MP rear camera smartphone. If Realme 3 can match up the RN7 Pro, then, it would stir the segment in India. One thing is clear, Realme sees Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series as its prime competitor. Thus, we expect the specifications/features war to be carried by Realme 3 Pro.
In case you have missed out on the Realme 3 launch today, let us summarise that for you quickly. The new Realme phone priced at Rs 8,999 offers a powerful processor, Helio P70 and is paired with two configs; 3+32 and 4+64. Further, it packs a dual (13MP + 2MP) camera setup on the rear, a 13MP selfie shooter. Running on the ColorOS 6.0 based on the Android 9 Pie. It is powered by a 4230 mAh capacity battery.
