Realme 5 will be priced under Rs 10,000; coming to India on August 20

Yesterday, we learned that Realme is all set to announce its next phone in India on August 20. Now it is confirmed alongside Realme 5 Pro, we would be seeing the Realme 5 make debut in India by next week. The Realme 5 would be a successor to the Realme 3 and thus have been believed to be priced under Rs 10,000. Not just that, but according to a recent exclusive report published by 91Mobiles states the same, as per their sources. Let’s find out what we know so far about the new upcoming Realme 5 below.   

Realme 5 Specifications – What do we know about it so far?

Realme 5 will be yet another quad-camera smartphone from the house of Realme. When Realme conducted an event regarding the upcoming 64MP camera technology, we also learned that they would be releasing at least three new smartphones by the end of this year, sporting quad camera setup. 

Coming to the display specifications, it is said to pack a U-shaped notch. It could be a near bezel-less screen with HD+ resolution. The handset is said to sport an LCD display. Under the display, it packs Snapdragon 600-series chipset. It is rumoured that it may pack a newly released Snapdragon 665 processor, as seen on Mi A3 launched in China.

Unfortunately, we don’t know much about the camera, but it will have four cameras at back. But according to the report, it may pack a 16MP resolution primary sensor, aided by an ultra-wide-angle lens with 119 degrees field of view. There will be a macro lens and a portrait lens, accompanying the primary sensor.
