Realme confirms its U-series smartphone to be the world’s 1st phone with MediaTek Helio P70

Realme U-series

In a short span, Realme has grown from a subsidiary to a rapidly growing independent mobile consumer brand in India. Which is why we are excited to see them introduce yet another smartphone. Realme has taken to its Twitter handle to unveil what’s in store for its consumers. The young mobile brand in India will launch its new U-series smartphone. And it will be powered by MediaTek’s new processor, Helio P70. Let’s talk about the Realme U-series smartphone below.

The new Realme U smartphone will be the first in the world to sport a MediaTek Helio P70 SoC. This recently announced chipset from the house of MediaTek will allow the company to bring premium features at an ultra-affordable cost. After the success of its Helio P60-enabled Realme 1, this upcoming smartphone would be its second smartphone with a MediaTek processor.

After launching the Realme 1 in May this year, the company moved to Qualcomm for its next three smartphones, which were launched in intervals. The phones we are talking about includes Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, and Realme C1. As for the specifications of the new Realme U-series smartphone, it is believed to be a selfie-centric handset and could be priced between Rs 10K-15K.

There is not much to discuss here further on this topic, but I’d like to say, I’m pretty excited about the new Realme smartphone. We have tested out every Realme smartphone that’s out there in the market and the brand has absolutely nailed its combination of the configuration and the pricing for most of its handsets. Let’s hope they keep this going on with its new smartphone as well.
