Realme X official poster shows smartphone in all its glory

Realme X is the next speculated device to be launched by Realme, following its venture into the Chinese market. However, new reports suggest that the device may not be exclusive to the Chinese markets. In fact, it may launch in India too, which is the biggest market for the company right now. Now, ahead of its launch, the company’s CMO has teased the smartphone revealing how it’d look. What’s more, is that new reports confirm that the device would be featuring a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. And now, the official posters of the device have also been released by the company.

Ahead of its launch, Realme has released yet another poster of the upcoming Realme X. However, the difference this time is that now you get a full view of the device. You can see the two color variants of the device, along with the pop-up selfie camera. Also, there’s no fingerprint sensor on the back panel, which hints that the phone will have an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Update 8/5/2019: Realme X to feature 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor

Realme released an official poster which confirms that the Realme X will come with a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor having f/1.7 aperture. What’s more, is that the device will also come with the Nightscape Mode which was introduced with the Realme 3.

Update 7/5/2019: Realme X teased by CMO

Ahead of its official launch, Realme’s CMO Xu Qi Chase has posted a hands-on image of the upcoming Realme X smartphone on its official Weibo account.

As shown in the image, you can see the full-screen display. There is also no notch visible, which more or less confirms the presence of a pop-up slider camera. Alongside the image, a couple of specifications for the device were also shared. The Realme X is said to come with an AMOLED display and a high screen-to-body ratio of 91.2%.

Realme X launch in India

The new Realme mobile has reportedly received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). This suggests that the device will make its way to India pretty soon, following its launch in China on May 15. The BIS listing shows Realme phones with model numbers RMX1901 and RMX1945. While both the numbers are associated with the Realme X, there is no word as to what separates them.

Realme X specifications

The Realme X is rumored to sport the Snapdragon 730 SoC with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Storage options will go up to 128GB. The Realme X is also said to have a 48-megapixel primary sensor at the back along with a 5-megapixel secondary, depth sensor. Additionally, there will be a pop-up selfie camera, as revealed in the promo video. The device could also be backed by VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology.
