Realme has now become a brand that competes with the likes of Xiaomi, OPPO, OnePlus neck to neck! With the recent launch of the Realme X50 Pro, the company has forayed into the world of 5G. It’s also a clear indication of the hyperactive attitude of the brand when it comes to bringing the latest smartphone tech as soon as possible. And now the company has launched the new Realme X50M, a trimmed-down version of the X50 Pro, that runs on the Snapdragon 765G processor.
Realme X50M 5G – Specs and Price
The Realme X50M is most likely going to be the upcoming Realme X3 in India. Almost all the specs in the TENAA listing have proved to be true. For starters, this is the first smartphone from the brand to feature a 120Hz display. It’s a 6.57-inch IPS LCD panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone comes with the support for dual-mode 5G connectivity, thanks to SD765G chipset. The phone has launched in 2 variants for China market – 6GB/128GB & 8GB/128GB.
We have high hopes that the company will launch the phone in India with a 256GB variant. In terms of optics, the X50M sports a 48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP rear camera setup. For selfies, you get a 16MP+2MP Dual Punch-Hole module. The phone has a 4200mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge support. The company claims that the phone can charge up to 70% in just 30 mins. You also get NFC support in the device along with realme UI based on Android 10 out-of-the-box.
The pricing starts at 1999 Yuan (Rs.21,500 directly converted) for the 6GB model, while the 8GB model goes for 2299 Yuan (Rs 24,500 approx.). It will be interesting to see how the pricing will differ in the Indian market.
