It doesn’t look like Xiaomi is in a mood to hide anything about its upcoming Redmi 6 Pro smartphone. While the handset is set to be introduced on June 25 in China, the company posted official teasers of the handset on its Weibo handle for everyone to see. Well, if that doesn’t do it for you, then we have an unboxing footage of the Redmi 6 Pro from the Chines media.
Since the launch isn’t far, review units must have already been handed out to the press and while posting an unreleased product in front of viewers beforehand could land the reviewer in trouble, we’re not here for that. We’re here to see some good images of the handset. So, take a look below. The Redmi 6 Pro is being tipped for the Indian market too. However, there is no launch date in sight.
As for the internals, the source reports a Snapdragon 625 chipset on the phone with 4GB of RAM. We’ve earlier reported that there could be 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB of RAM, paired with 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB of internal storage.
As for the display, the Redmi 6 Pro is to get a 5.84-inch Full-HD+ panel mounted on top of a metal chassis. The aspect ratio is 19:9. And the cameras are identical to the Redmi S2 setup with a 12MP + 5MP combo at the back and a 5MP sensor at the front.
