This information comes from Lu Weibing, who was recently appointed as the Head of the new Redmi brand. In his Weibo post, the newly appointed head conducted a meeting with Xiaomi’s  R&D at Shenzhen discussing their next line of products. There was a mention of Redmi Note 7 Pro and a Snapdragon 855 SoC powered smartphone. Both of these handsets are not yet announced, which the latter has been mentioned the first time.
