Redmi, Xiaomi’s sub-brand is quite popular in various markets. Recently, the Mi Notebook was launched in India and it received an adequate response. Today, Redmi launched its new gaming laptop in the Chinese market with very competitive specifications. Let us find out the specifications of the Redmi G gaming laptop.
Redmi G – Specifications
The Redmi notebook comes with a 16.1-inch Full HD+ display with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. It offers a 178-degree viewing angle and supports 100 percent sRGB color gamut. The bezels are minimal as well-meaning the device has a screen-to-body ratio of 81 percent. There is a 1-megapixel camera with support for HD quality with a digital array mic for calling.
In terms of performance, the laptop is powered by the Intel Core i5 or the i7 (depending on the configuration that you choose) with the GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics. When it comes to storage, the laptop features 512GB of PCIe SSD with an extra slot for additional SSD storage via an SSD drive. In terms of cooling, the unit features “Hurricane Cooling 2.0”.
As for the keyboard, the device features a full-size backlit keyboard with numeric keypads as well. There is a 55Whr battery that offers 6 hours of web browsing and 4 hrs of HD streaming. In terms of ports, there is a USB 2.0 Port, dual USB 3.2 ports, Mini display port, full-size HDMI port, Type-C, Ethernet, and 3.5 mm audio jack. The device weighs around 2.5 kg.
Redmi G – Pricing and Availability
The Redmi G Notebook is available in quite a few configurations starting from Core i5-10200H+GTX1650+60Hz display for RMB 4999 (INR 53,999), Core i5-10300H+GTX1650+144Hz for RMB 5799 (INR 62500) and Core i7-10750H+GTX1650 Ti+144Hz for RMB 6599 (INR 71000). The notebook is available in only one colour, Shadow Black and there is no word yet on its availability since as of now it is limited to China.
