Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the highest selling phone in India and there is no doubt that all of us are waiting to see its successor in 2018. The Redmi Note 5 is one of the biggest attractions of the coming year and while we are looking forward to its release, the device has been subjected to a number of leaks already! The most recent leak shows all the major features and specs of the Redmi Note 5 and we must say, a superb device is on its way indeed.
Redmi Note 5 – All about the leak!
The leaked images have already speculated the release of the device to be in January 2018. The phone will have a 5.99″ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and will be bezel-less to a considerable extent.
The Redmi Note 5 will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor, clocked at 2.2 GHz. The performance of the phone is likely to be nothing short of amazing since this processor is well known for its eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores.
The phone will have two variants where the first one is likely to adorn a combination of 3GB RAM+32GB ROM, and the second variant will have a combination of 4GB RAM+64GB ROM.
The leak also suggests that the phone will have a dual camera setup on the back with 16MP+5MP sensors. It is also likely to house a 5MP selfie snapper for immaculate pictures.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will run Android 7.1.2 Nougat, will be powered by a humongous 4,000mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor, just below the back cameras.
The phone will cost anywhere between INR 12,000-INR 14,000/- and if these features are to be believed, the phone will be a pocket-friendly giant, indeed.
