Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Redmi Go to launch in India soon

Xiaomi recently made Redmi a proper sub-brand under its tag. Redmi recently launched the Redmi Note 7 in China, the first smartphone under the Redmi tag. Now, while the product is available only in China, the company understands that India is one of their primary markets. As such, it is a no-brainer that the company will launch its smartphones in India. And rightly so, new reports suggest that Redmi will be launching a total of 3 new smartphones in India.

Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Redmi Go to launch soon

New reports suggest that Redmi is working hard on new products after the Redmi Note 7. What’s more is that the company wants to push these products to the Indian market as well. As confirmed by leakster Ishan Agarwal, Redmi will be launching a total of three smartphones in India. One of these will be the previously launched Redmi Note 7. Apart from that, the company is planning to launch the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Go in India as well.

Redmi Note 7 specifications

Speaking about the Redmi Note 7, the device sports a 6.3-inch fullHD+ display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The display has a water drop notch as seen previously on the Xiaomi Mi Play. The brightness levels are set at 450 nits. Further, it would be supported by a 2.5D curved glass design. Under the hood, you get a Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with up to 4GB of RAM. There are two storage options of 32GB and 64GB as well. As for the camera, you get a dual rear camera setup of 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor + 5MP depth sensor. The device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery, and support fast charging thanks to USB Type-C.

Redmi Note 7 Pro specifications

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is the upcoming device from the company. As of now, not much is known about the device. However, we do know it will also be featuring a 48MP camera sensor at the back. This time around, it will be a Sony IMX586 sensor. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 675 SoC.

Redmi Go specifications

Last but not least, Redmi will be looking forward to launching the Redmi Go. There is no word on the device’s specifications as such. However, the device recently got certified by various agencies including the US FCC, EEC, and SIRIM Malaysia. It is expected to feature a 5.9-inch display. Also, as the name suggests, the device will come with Android 9 Pie Go Edition out-of-the-box.

Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Redmi Go price in India and launch

The reports suggest that the trio of devices will be launched by the end of the first quarter in India. As for the price, the Redmi Note 7 is available for 999 yuan (~Rs. 10,500) for the 3/32GB variant and 1199 yuan (~Rs. 12,000) for the 4/64GB variant. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is rumored to be priced at 499 yuan (~Rs. 15,750). For now, there is no word on what the price for the Redmi Go could be.
