Samsung is releasing Galaxy A8 and A8+ pretty soon. Today, the official website of the South Korean company has revealed a user manual which includes the full designs and specs sheet of the two phones.
The Galaxy A8 (2018) has an Infinity Display, as was leaked a few days ago. The aspect ratio of the device is expected to be 18.5:9, just like the S8 devices, thanks to the curved screen across the sides. However, the bezels, specifically the upper ones, in the Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ are wider than that of the S8 series.
The Galaxy A8 will have a 5.8″ display while the other one will feature a bigger, 6.01″ display. The former will house a 3,000mAh battery and the A8+ (2018) will be graced with a 3,500mAh battery.
On the upper bezels, the phones feature an LED flash, earpiece, dual selfie cameras and proximity sensor. The speaker and the power keys are placed on the right while the single sim slot (a variant with one nano sim support) sits on the left along with the volume button.
The dual sim variant of the phone has the second nano sim slot on the top with an SD card slot. The bottom bezel of the phone features a USB type-C port.
On the back, the phones have a fingerprint sensor sitting comfortably beneath the rear camera, an LED Flash and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phones will come with a 3D glass panel on the back and Bixby Assistant.
Both the phones have been speculated to run on an Exonys 7885 octa-core processor which is clocked at 2.2 GHz. While the smaller phone will have 4GB RAM, the A8+ (2018) will feature 6GB RAM, according to some speculations. Both of these devices will have dual front cameras (16MP+ 8MP) and a single main shooter (16MP). Both the phones will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
