Samsung has launched its new smartphone in India, it is called Samsung Galaxy A2 Core. The new handset from the brand is priced at Rs 5,290. It will retail in the country in 2 colours variants including Black and Blue. The handset will be made out of Plastic. 


Talking about the display of the Samsung Galaxy A2 Core, it is a 5.0-inches display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. This means the pixel density of the screen is at 220 ppi. It is an IPS panel, which comes with a 16:9 aspect ratio. 


As far as the camera department is concerned, it packs a single rear camera setup of 5.0MP. It comes with Touch-to-focus and Autofocus technology. The rear camera is supported by a LED flash. For selfies, you can make use of the 5.0MP front camera.

Hardware and Software

The Samsung Galaxy A2 Core is powered by a Samsung Exynos 7 Octa 7870 chipset, which comes with 8 Cores and clocks at 1.8 GHz. It is accompanied by a 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity. It will be running on the Android 9 Pie Go Edition. Note that the external storage is expandable. It does not come with a fingerprint sensor. As far as the battery life is concerned, its 2600mAh battery juice claims a day’s life.
