Samsung’s recent promise of overhauling the A series and bring new tech first to the range has got us a lot excited. To add to that excitement, we have a few live images of the Galaxy A7 (2018) that leaked today. Now, there’s already a lot of gossip surrounding the quad-camera phone from Samsung launching in October, but this is a different device. The Galaxy A7 (2018) was spotted on Bluetooth SIG as well but that listing didn’t spill any beans as is the usual case. More importantly, an official teaser has also just dropped confirming the leaked design to be true.
The leaked images here show a triple camera setup in a cutout and design seen on the Galaxy A8 Star similar to the press renders. As this is the first instance of the handset, we don’t know what kind of setup Samsung will endow this new A7 model. However, there should be one telephoto lens in there for zoom and bokeh. When this smartphone launches in the near future, it will be the first Samsung device with a triple camera setup.
Besides that, the other noticeable thing is the absence of a fingerprint reader. From the press renders, it is now clear that it is on the home button on the side.
As for the other specs, we have no idea but we’re expecting something along the lines of the Galaxy A8+ (2018). That means a 6-inch Full-HD+ display, an Exynos 7885 chipset, 6GB of RAM and similar stuff.
The Galaxy A7 (2018) will launch alongside the quad-camera A series device (A9 Pro) on October 11 and we’re very much looking forward to this device. Are you?
