Rumours of the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) have been in the news for some time now. However, a Russian e-commerce website has already listed it. And, according to the listing, the smartphone will be priced at 7,990 RUB (approximately Rs 8,900). The model number of the Galaxy J2 will be SM-J250 according to the Russian e-commerce site listing.
The device has a 5-inch super AMOLED display with a qHD resolution (540 x 960p). The smartphone runs on quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 308 GPU. It has 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with the option of an expandable memory of up to 256GB via microSD card.
The smartphone is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for your selfies. Both the cameras are supported by an LED flash as well, for low-light shots.
The Galaxy J2 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and is packed with a 2,600mAh battery. The smartphone weighs 153 grams. It has Bluetooth 4.1, support for dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS.
The Galaxy J2 will hit the Russian market first before entering other countries. We don’t know yet about an India launch and will keep you posted as and when we hear something.
