The South Korean giant is all set to release its affordable line-up, the Galaxy M series in India and other countries by the end of this month. With most of the budget-friendly market invaded by the likes of Xiaomi, Honor, and Nokia, it is only time that Samsung fights the fight. Its Galaxy M20 is one of the phones that is believed to take on the sub Rs 15,000 pricing category in India.
We have been reporting various specifications and design leaks of the device. Today, an extensive leak of the same has popped up online on a Dutch website, Mobielkopen. Let’s talk about what we have learned about the upcoming Galaxy M20 smartphone.

It is said to sport a massive 6.3-inch display with full-HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080). With the introduction of the Waterdrop notch, the real estate has increased, also thanks to the taller aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The pixel density now comes out to 409 PPI. The company could be calling it an Infinity-V display rather than a Waterdrop/dewdrop notch design.
The Galaxy M20 will sport dimensions, 156.4 x 74.5 x 8.8mm and could weight at 183 grams. Talking about the camera setup, the rear camera setup would include a dual rear camera setup, including a 13MP primary lens and a 5MP secondary lens. The primary lens could have an f/1.9 aperture size and secondary lens could have an f/2.2 aperture size. Unfortunately, there is no detail mentioned about the front camera.
From the image shared by the Mobielkopen, it can be certainly said that Samsung could be introducing a USB Type-C port on its budget-friendly Galaxy M20 smartphone. And there would be a 3.5mm audio jack, which would be a relief for most of the users. Plus, there would be an NFC functionality, which could mean Samsung Pay/ Pay Mini could be offered on this phone.
It would be sporting a bottom firing speaker and dual microphone setup. Talking about the processor, Samsung could power it with an Exynos 7885 processor along with a 3GB of RAM. With a variety of storage variants, 32GB and 64GB. The only point that could be hurtful to certain users is the Android 8.1 Oreo-based UI. We would love to see the One UI on this Galaxy M20 smartphone.

Further, the Amazon India banner listing suggests fast charging support and humongous battery capacity. We know that a battery capacity of 5000mAh could be arriving on this phone. Also, a Face Unlock feature is suggested by the drawing shared on MobielKopen. As far as the audio experience is concerned, Samsung is likely to offer a Dolby Atmos support.
