As expected, Samsung launched its first On series phone with an AMOLED Infinity Display in India today. The Galaxy On6 is the latest addition to the On series of phones that sells specifically to the online market and the handset is priced Rs 14,490. It comes in Blue and Black paint jobs and will be available on Flipkart and Samsung Shop online. The handset launch also accompanied an announcement of the company pronouncing Tiger Shroff as the brand ambassador for the Galaxy On6.

The Galaxy On6 comes with a 5.6-inch (1480 x 720-pixel resolution) HD+ Super AMOLED 18.5:9 Infinity display that is coated with 2.5D curved glass. The processor under the hood is the Exynos 7870 chip which is the same as the one on the Galaxy A6 that launched a while ago.
The chipset will run Android 8.0 Oreo that is diluted by Samsung’s own custom skin. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The newest Samsung package for the On series runs on a 3,000mAh battery. Its photography department is handled by a 13MP single rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera both with LED flash.
As usual, you also get dual SIM options, a fingerprint reader, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and 4G VoLTE connectivity. Sensors such as the accelerometer, gyro, ambient light and proximity sensors also thankfully make it to this particular new Galaxy On6 handset.
