Samsung is surrounded by leaks nowadays. Recently, the company’s plan to patent notch design surfaced on the internet. Today, information about the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus has come up from a Korean source. The report states that the company has finalised the design of its S10 flagship. It is all the more interesting because the Galaxy S9 duo was launched just a month ago and Samsung has already started finalising designs for their successor.
The Galaxy S10 duo is likely to feature an iPhone X-like 3D sensing camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The latter will make a debut on the Galaxy Note 9, as confirmed by the latest leaks. Along with this, the trend of infinity curved display will be retained on the Galaxy S10 phones. They are also likely to carry a bigger display. The Galaxy S10 can come with a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED panel and the Galaxy S10+ can arrive with a 6.3-inch display.
The 3D camera will help in Face Recognition and we can totally expect it to be at par with the iPhone X. Samsung has partnered with Mantis Vision and Woodgate to manufacture a phone with accurate Face Recognition. The in-display fingerprint sensor will be manufactured by Synaptics and Aegis Tech will provide components for the same.
The duo is also likely to run on the Exynos 9820 processor which is likely to power the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 as well. The phones will also be powered by the Snapdragon 855 processor for the USA, Canada, Mexico and China. All the other countries will receive the Exynos variant of the phones. As Samsung is known for releasing new Galaxy S devices at MWC, we can expect the Galaxy S10 duo to show up in February 2019 during MWC.
