Samsung Galaxy S10 India pricing announced; should Apple be worried?

After the exhausting leak spree lasting almost half a year, Samsung finally launched the Galaxy S10 Plus, S10, and the S10e at a San Francisco launch event. While the launch only happened a day ago, and fortunately for the Indian consumers, the pre-bookings start today. 

Samsung Galaxy S10+ India price

The Galaxy S10+ comes with a 6.4-inch Wide Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The base variant of the Galaxy S10+ offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and you also have 8GB+512GB if you want slightly more storage. However, the highlight of the show is the highest variant which offers a whopping 12GB of RAM alongside 1TB of internal storage.  

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ will retail for:

8GB + 128GB for Rs 73,900

8GB + 512GB for Rs 91,900

12GB + 1TB for Rs 1,17,900

The 1 TB and 512 GB variants are being offered in luxurious, ceramic white and ceramic black colours respectively, while the 128 GB variant will come in premium prism black, prism white and prism blue colours.

Samsung Galaxy S10 India Price

The Galaxy S10 comes with the same flagship Exynos 9820 chipset but comes only in 8GB RAM variants. The display here is a 6.1-inch Wide Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. For storage, the Galaxy S10 will be available in two variants of 8+128GB and 8+512GB. Additionally, there is the support for microSD cards up to 512GB. 

The Samsung Galaxy S10 will retail for:

8GB + 128GB for Rs 66,900

8GB + 512GB for Rs 84,900

The 512GB option will be available in prism white colour, whereas the 128 GB variant will be available in prism black, prism white and prism blue colours. 

Samsung Galaxy S10e India Price

Unlike the edge shaped displays on the other two phones, the Galaxy S10e comes with a flat display. It’ll have a 5.8-inch FullHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 19:9 screen resolution. Under the hood, you get the Exynos 9820 SoC paired with 6GB RAM. With the S10e you only get the 128GB storage variant in India, but you still get a microSD card slot that supports expandable storage up to 512GB. 

Samsung S10e will retail for:

6GB + 128GB for Rs 55,900

The device will be available in prism black and prism white colours. 

Pre-booking for the Samsung Galaxy S10+, S10, and S10e

You’ll be able to pre-book their Galaxy S10 devices until March March 5 through Samsung’s website, Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm, Tata CLiQ, and select retail outlets. All variants of Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10e will be available across retail and online stores from March 8. Deliveries for pre-booking customers will start on March 6.
