Samsung Galaxy S10 series to get 25W fast charging support via OTA

Yes, you read that title right. No, the OTA update isn’t going to magically add features to the device. You see, up until now, 25W fast charging has only remained exclusive to the Galaxy S10 5G. It, later on, came with the Galaxy A70 out of the box. However, Samsung is all set to roll out the feature to the entire Galaxy S1o lineup.

25W fast charging support on Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup

Quan Guixian, head of Samsung Greater China, said at an interactive section with a number of fans at one of the major Samsung stores in China that the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and the Galaxy S10+ will get updates for support for 25W fast charging. This update will be delivered OTA (Over The Air). Also, to make use of it, consumers will have to buy the special 25W fast charger separately.

Apart from that, the top exec reportedly confirmed that the Galaxy S10 lineup will also receive a camera update that brings a long-exposure camera mode. That said, we still don’t know whether there would be a cumulative update or individual updates for each feature.
