Samsung is apparently working on a successor to the Galaxy Tab Active. It is the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 which has already been certified by the FCC.
For more information on this new device keep reading! Some features are confirmed to be present in Active 2 according to its user manual (which is now available online), the device will feature Bixby (in the form of Bixby Home, and not Bixby Voice) along with a removable battery.
Other features will include an S pen, fingerprint sensor, and USB Type-C port. As per GFXBench, the tablet is powered by Exynos 7870 SoC and sports an 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixel) display. It has 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory and also features an 8MP/5MP camera combo. It runs on Android Nougat version 7.1.1.
Sources say, that along with what is said to be a render of the device it also mentions IP68 rating and 480 nits of brightness on the panel.
