Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 with S-Pen and Snapdragon 855 launched

A week before the launch of the coveted Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series, Samsung has launched another flagship product. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is here, and it shows just how serious the company is in terms of the tablet market. The tab comes with flagship features and a classy design. So let’s take a look at what this tab is all about.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 comes with a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display that bears WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display that bears WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600 pixels). It is also the first tablet to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, you get a Snapdragon 855 SoC. It comes in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants, both of which support storage expansion up to 1TB using a microSD card. In terms of cameras, you get a dual rear camera setup of 13MP+5MP. Upfront, there is an 8MP shooter for selfies.

The Galaxy Tab S6 also sees the product get the S-Pen from the Note lineup. The pen magnetically attaches to the back of the tablet for easy storage and charging. It comes with some new features such as pause and skip videos, jump to the next slide, and more with a press of a button. As for specs, it has a 0.35mAh battery that can charge wirelessly and deliver 10 hours of juice upon charging for 10 minutes. The tab also comes with the company’s AI virtual assistant Bixby for hands-free control. There is a USB Type-C port at the bottom, but no 3.5mm headphone jack. 

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 price and availability

The Galaxy Tab S6 will be available in Cloud Blue, Rose Blush, and Mountain Grey color options. The company hasn’t disclosed the price of the device yet.
