Samsung is leading innovation and there’s no doubt about that. The company released the DeX Station last year which could turn the Galaxy S8 line-up into a computer. Following the same trail, the company is likely to launch the DeX Pad at MWC this year. The accessory will turn the Galaxy S9 duo into a touchpad.
Evan Blass, a popular tipster has tweeted a leak which suggests the arrival of the accessory. It will be launched with the Galaxy S9 and will add another drool-worthy feature to the phone. The docking pad will hold the phone horizontally rather than positioning it vertically. The accessory will become more convenient to use since it will turn the phone into a touchpad. You won’t need a mouse if this turns out to be real. Just get a keyboard and a display, and you’re good to go.
The DeX Pad will also carry a micro USB Type-C and two Type-A ports along with an HDMI for a display. To prevent overheating of the device, the pad will also feature a vent. Razer has also launched Project Linda at CES 2018, a laptop, and it can basically act as a dock for the Razer phone. The phone becomes a trackpad and the laptop holds it. Even though the smartphones carry massive RAMs nowadays, they still need to work on turning into computers.
Samsung will launch the bezel-less Galaxy S9 duo at MWC and we are excited. The phones look gorgeous in the lilac shade and carry the Snapdragon 845 processor. Are you waiting for the DeX Pad to launch? Let us know in the comments section below.
