In the times we live in, sanitising equipment is a sort of a necessity these days. But, we never think of our devices and sterilizing them even though they are dirt covered slabs of glass (or plastic). If you too are worried about the same, then Samsung has launched a solution for you guys. The South Korean giant today launched it’s UV Sterilizer with an added bonus of ‘Wireless Charging’ to clean and charge your device at the same time. Samsung UV Sterilizer Specifications

Samsung claims that the UV Sterilizer can eradiate up to 99% of germs present on your device, which is quite good. In terms of sterilizing time, the device can sterilize your device in just ten minutes. As for the size, the device is adequately sized, neither too big nor too small and it weighs 369 grams. This is quite good considering it can fit the Note 10+ and the S20 Ultra, two of the biggest smartphones available in the market.

The device can also be turned on and off with a single button press. When it comes to the other major headlining feature, which is the wireless charging feature, the device can charge at 10W and even supports Qi Wireless charging. Also, you may be wondering whether the device stops charging after sterilization and to its pros, it does not, meaning that even after sterilization is complete, the device will still be topped up.

Pricing and Availability

The Samsung UV Sterilizer costs Rs 3,599 and will be available early August through Samsung official shops and the Samsung Shop (shop.samsung.com).
