Unlike any other incumbent smartphone players in the market, Sony aggressively releases two flagship smartphones a year. The Japanese smartphone maker is now ready to introduce the much awaited Xperia XZ3, successor to its Xperia XZ2, which got announced at MWC earlier this year. The upcoming handset might show up at IFA, which is usually Sony’s spot to introduce its flagship smartphone.
Sony Xperia XZ3 Specifications
The major upgrades coming to the camera, RAM, the thickness of the device. A dual-rear camera setup is in the fortune if the leak is to be believed. It will replace the single 19MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The primary shooter on the rumored device is reported to sport a 19MP resolution lens with f/1.8 aperture. Whereas the secondary snapper on the rear is likely to sport a 12MP resolution lens with even wider f/1.6 aperture. The selfie camera is supposed to get a bump up to 13MP this time. And that is exactly the XZ2 Premium smartphone carries.
If these leaks were to come true, it would make Xperia XZ3 the most powerful smartphone camera. And it might be able to give any other flagship smartphone run for their money. Considering, it won’t be too expensive itself!
Talking about other improvements, they include 6GB of RAM jump from 4GB and a tad bigger capacity battery. It’s believed that grand improvement would be in the camera department. Expect a similar 5.7-inch 1080 x 2160 pixel resolution screen as seen on the XZ2.
