Earlier we learnt that Sony might be working on to introduce a flagship successor to its Xperia XZ3 when Antutu score of the alleged Xperia XZ4 leaked. Today, a Weibo user has posted a Geekbench score that is believed to be of the Xperia XZ4. And you won’t believe the score it showcases as you didn’t for the Antutu score as well.

The single-core score is measured at 3947 and multi-core score at 12801. These are mind-blowing numbers, to say the least. And are particularly in-line with the surprise received on the Antutu benchmark. Further, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Xperia XZ4 could be sporting an 8GB of RAM, which kind of a big thing for Sony. Since it would be the first time for the brand to introduce an 8GB RAM on an XZ series phone. The listing also reveals that it would be running on the Android 9 Pie based interface out of the box.

There are things that are hard to believe about the alleged Sony Xperia XZ4 such as its triple rear camera setup when the XZ3 doesn’t even have a dual rear camera setup. But if it does come out to be true, then that would be a big jump for the brand. Also, expect Sony’s new phone to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.

Sony desperately needs a win when it comes to keeping its mobile devices business alive. Because the handset manufacturer based out of Japan has been losing money in this business for quite a while now. In related news, the Xperia XZ3 series and Xperia L3 seems good phone considering the specifications they are reported to come with.
