While we’ve been kept distracted with repeated renders of the Motorola One Power, and the P30 (Motorola), a surprising new Motorola device has emerged today from the dark. This device (leak) comes from the depths of Weibo, China’s micro-blogging website. Below are a few live images of the device. Some have been calling it the Moto G6 Plus like the image itself depicts. Some suggest it to be a Moto G7 as Moto has already launched a Moto G6 Plus.

As per PhoneArena, a Moto G6 Plus with Snapdragon 660 popped up in May but its top display was not visible. This could be that very device, says the blog. Motorola has been working on a notched phone and that’s no secret but a water-drop notch has hitherto not been reported for the Lenovo-owned OEM.
All we can say from these images is that the phone has a dual-SIM capacity, dual rear cameras, and a fingerprint reader. As for the images itself, there’s no telling whether it is 100 percent legit or not. Only time will tell.
Meanwhile, as we still wait for the Motorola One Power, the brand has launched the Motorola P30, a Snapdragon 636-bearing smartphone with an iPhone X-like notch. If this Motorola device does end up being official sometime in the near future, Motorola will be amongst the handful OEMs that have a water-drop style notch in their phones.
