In an already crowded Indian smartphone market, a new Noida-based company called Tambo Mobiles has debuted new phones today. The company released three smartphones and six feature phones targeted at the entry-level segment. The prices of these devices start from as little as Rs 700 to Rs 7,000.
The smartphones will come with a 5.45-inch display with an infinity design and 2.5D curved glass protection. They will also feature a fingerprint sensor and face unlock. Additionally, these smartphones will be VoLTE/ViLTE supportive. As per the company’s presser, the handsets will feature quad-core MediaTek chips clocked at 1.25GHz with16GB of ROM. These would be expandable to 64GB.
Camera-wise, they will house an 8MP AF rear camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. The camera software will be packed with Face beauty, burst mode, panorama mode and stickers. All the other specs and details are still pending from the company.
As for the feature phones called Power phones by Tambo, they will come with a 60-day battery standby. Further, they will have 22 languages pre-installed as well as dedicated music keys on the handsets.
