Tambo TA-3 with FullView display, fingerprint sensor and face unlock launched at Rs 4,999

Domestic phone maker Tambo Mobiles has launched an ultra-cheap handset called TA-3. The handset comes in what Tambo Mobiles called “Superphone” category. The phone maker also has another category of phones called “Powerphones”. The Tambo TA-3 is supposed to be a powerful entry-level handset from the company that will be a retailing at Rs 4,999. It will be sold across offline stores in three color shades including Jet Black, Champagne, and Metallic Blue.

Tambo TA-3 Specifications 

At that rock bottom price, the Tambo TA-3 features a 4.95-inch Full View display with 2.5D curved glass protection. It uses a quad-core MediaTek 6737 SoC for operations and has 16GB of onboard storage. For users concerned with storage expansion, it indeed offers a microSD slot for storage expansion.

The handset also has a fingerprint reader and face recognition as highlights. The camera on the rear and front is a 5MP shooter with LED flash support. It comes with features like face beauty, burst mode, panorama mode, and stickers. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based user interface. 

If you’re on a tight budget and looking to explore more options in the entry-level segment. Then, we suggest you count this handset among one of your options.
