Tambo launches TA-4 smartphone with 18:9 display, 2GB of RAM

Noida-based smartphone maker, Tambo Mobiles, has introduced the TA-4 smartphone in India today. Tambo Mobiles mostly deals in entry-level smartphones and the TA-4 is the latest offering that segment. It will be available in Jet Black, Champagne and Sapphire Blue and will be sold across retail channels in India. The smartphone is priced Rs 6,999.

Tambo TA-4 specs

The slim body of the TA-4 comes with a glossy finish is slightly curved at the back for an ergonomic feel. The IPS screen is 5.45-inches in size and has an 18:9 aspect ratio and Tambo says in its presser that it can reach 550 nits of brightness. It is covered with 2.5D curved glass for an immersive screen experience The ‘Superphone’ is equipped with the quad-core MediaTek 6737 SoC clocked at 1.25GHz aide by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. That is expandable to 64GB, of course.

In terms of optics, the handset has an 8MP rear camera with dual LED while the front selfie shooter is equipped with a 5MP lens. The camera comes with features such as face beauty, burst mode, HDR, and stickers.

The handset runs Android Nougat sadly and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. However, it does come with a fingerprint scanner and supports 4G VoLTE. 

Tambo Mobiles promises 200 days replacement warranty and one-time screen replacement within 365 days.
