Tesla (American Automaker) was found in the year 2009 by a bunch of engineers who believed in electric cars. The same company has now launched a desktop charger and a power bank at a minimal cost of $45. Not only does the company build electric cars, it also believes that if the world starts relying on clean energy sources the better it is for the world.

The power bank launched by Tesla packs an 18,650 cell with a 3,350 mAh capacity. Though the company has taken a step in producing power banks and chargers there are many other options which are available at such a price range ($45). The power bank is capable of charging an Android mobile phone just once or even less, there is no USB Type C port support, which is found in almost every other power bank. It offers only micro USB and Apple lighting charging cable with an output rate of 5V/1.5A.

The Lithium-ion cell inside of the charger is the similar kind of cell that is available in all the other company’s model X and model S. According to the information we have, the power banks are not quite impressive. Though the design of the device stands out and it can create a buzz among the Tesla loyalists. Even if you know about the shortcomings of the products you might still want to get your hands on them because of there super cool designs. This power bank is inspired by Tesla’s supercharger monument.

The charger looks like a small charging station and the same 3D CAD data is used which is used to manufacture real super-chargers.

The power bank and the desktop charger is only available at the companies website.

A few days ago in New York, Elon Musk launched a truck named Tesla Semi, and updated Roadster 2.0. Those of you who are not Tesla die-hard fans must be wondering about Roadster. Roadster is a vehicle which can make a jump from 0-100 km in about 1.9 seconds. Reaching up to a speed limit of 400 km/hour. This speed is only possible because of its super-dynamic battery pack of 200 kWh.

This is just the beginning of the revolution that Tesla aims at bringing in to the world. It is building the most affordable car and is accelerating the use of renewable energy. It wants the use of clean energy to be at its highest peak- that is the future Tesla aims at.
