In October Twitter had announced that they are working on a feature which will help users save their tweets. This feature is called “Bookmarks” that will helps all the Twitter users which are approximately 330 million of them to save their tweets. This confirmation was received by Keith Coleman ( Head of product ).

They have given it the name “Bookmarks” because it is apt and it means saving content for later. Tina Koyama said, “News from the #SaveForLater team! We’ve decided to call our feature ‘Bookmarks’ because that’s a commonly used term for saving content and it fits nicely alongside the names of the other features in the navigation”.

Users can keep a completely separate list which they can refer to whenever they please. This feature was requested by Twitter users in Japan and it is good to know that Twitter delivered the users requested. It will appear in the menu in the bottom right corner of any tweet in your smartphone.
