
Vaio is back in the laptop business in the country as it has launched the new Vaio E15 laptop. The new machine claims to be ergonomically built borrowing its signature DNA from the past. The latest Vaio E15 attains sleek lines and minimal aesthetics, which promise a light body with portability. It weighs in around 1.77kgs and features a 15.6-inch display that claims to fit perfectly at a workstation, or home, for example.
Vaio E15 — Technical specifications
The Vaio E15 features Full HD IPS display that measures 15.6-inches diagonally. The display adheres to the body of the laptop through Vaio’s Signature hinge, which also claims to be ergonomic for comfort. On the top, there’s a 1MP web camera for video conferencing calls.
Under the hood, the E15 draws power from the latest AMD Ryzen processors (Ryzen 5/7 quad-core 3500U/3700U) coupled with 8GB of RAM (LPDDR4) and 512GB of built-in SSD storage. The machine ships with Windows 10 Home operating system out of the box. The AMD Ryzen processors are coupled with AMD Radeon Vega 8/10 GPU, for gaming and graphics.
The Vaio E15 equips essential ports on the I/O front. These include two USB Type-A ports with faster data transfers, USB Type-C, HDMI v1.4 port, and microSD slot as well. The keyword is also backlit that promises enhanced visibility in darker environments. The unspecified battery capacity promises up to 8-hour battery life. The device further equips dual speakers (1W), microphones, and other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, and Bluetton 4.2.
Vaio E15 — Pricing and Availability
The Vaio E15 features in two models, and are available for pre-order on Flipkart India. The Ryzen 5 Quad Core 3500U model costs Rs 49,990, and on the other hand, the 3700U variant retails at Rs 56,000.
