Vivo’s Nex phone is the next high-profile handset we’re waiting for. The handset is already on the shelves in China and, looks-wise, it could be the only competitor to the Find X. Which was incidentally, introduced in the country yesterday. The Nex line is set for a release on July 19 and the price has already leaked.
The Nex will be priced Rs 48,990, if this leaked image is any indication. And apparently, it will be sold on Amazon India exclusively. As per the source, the Vivo Nex A which has the Snapdragon 710 will not be launched in India. So this price here is for the base Snapdragon 845 variant, also called Vivo Nex S.
However, it will simply be named Vivo Nex. The same variant in China costs around $702 (Rs 47,000) which means the price is fair. Also, the high-end model will be more expensive but will still be less than the Find X that has a Rs 59,990 price tag.
The Vivo Nex is a phone that can go toe-to-toe with the Find X in terms of screen-to-body ratio.
The Nex comes with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display and a 19.3:9 aspect ratio. It has the Snapdragon 845 with 8GB of RAM and there are two storage options – 128GB/256GB. Also, it has a 4000mAh battery that supports fast charging. But the Vivo Nex is not just about the essential specs. For more on the awesome highlighted features, refer to our launch article here.
