Vivo is the world’s first company to make a phone with a fingerprint sensor that is embedded within the display itself. The Vivo X21 UD is technically the second phone from the company that comes with this innovative tech. Vivo has removed the UD suffix and relaunched the X21 in the India today. The BBK Electronics-owned smartphone brand has priced the X21 at Rs 35,990 in India. It would be a Flipkart exclusive smartphone available for purchase from today.

Do you even have to ask? Duh, its fingerprint is placed inside the display. The lower part of the large 6.28-inch 1080 x 2280 pixel display offers a technology which has never been seen in a smartphone before. Looks like we are heading towards an era when there would be no debates whether which place is perfect to place fingerprint sensor.
Talking about the camera department, it packs a dual-rear setup. The primary sensor is of 12MP and secondary sensor packs a 5MP resolution. With optical image stabilization, it is expected to offer a good stable photography. Plus, the PDAF dual-pixel technology helps to offer a better and faster focusing compared to devices with no PDAF.
You’d expect a large screen display smartphone to pack a large battery but unfortunately, that is not the case here. You only get a 3,200mAh unit. Although, it may not be its shortcoming, all thanks to the fast charging support.
