Like Oppo’s R series in China and F-series in India, Vivo also has two similar product lines that go hand in hand and will be launched on the same day next month. We’re talking about the Vivo X23 and the Vivo V11 Pro. The former will be announced on September 6th in China, a new official announcement has revealed today. The Vivo X21 is the successor of the Vivo X21 that is no longer exclusive to China and is now available in India.
The Vivo X23 is an upper-mid-range handset which leaked in live images today. Drawing info from these images, it is clear that the upcoming Vivo phone will come with a renovated front notch design. Besides that, none of the live images show a visible fingerprint reader, so we’re presuming it will be underneath the screen.
Moreover, this will be an improved fourth generation sensor so we’re expecting improved unlock speeds and we can’t wait to see it. Also, it is clear from the ‘About Phone’ menu visible in one of these images that a Snapdragon 670 SoC will be tasked to run things behind the scenes. Apart from the images, recent encounters with benchmarks have revealed conflicting info on the processor. Geekbench came out with a Snapdragon 710 listing while AnTuTu suggested a Snapdragon 670 corroborated with today’s live image.
As for other vita components, scouring other sources has revealed a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ display, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. Meanwhile, on the other side of the Himalayas, Vivo is warming up for a similar offering – the Vivo V11 Pro – launching on the same date. The new V series phone is the spitting image of the Vivo X23 while internals are a bit low-grade compared to the X series phone. Are you excited for the two new Vivo phones?
