Vivo Y20G is now official in India, and it adds up to the earlier released Y20 series phones — the Vivo Y20 2021 and Vivo Y20A. The device comprises a powerful MediaTek Helio processor, a triple rear camera setup, a bigger battery and a more prominent display. The Vivo Y20G comes in a single storage variant comprising 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The device retails at Rs 14,990 and will be available for purchase through Vivo e-store, Amazon, Flipkart and other leading offline and online stores.

Vivo Y20G — Design and Display

The Vivo Y20G comes with a 6.51-inches HD+ Halo FullView display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. That means it has a dewdrop notch display to behold the selfie camera up top. It further encloses in a gradient finish build on the back, which comprises two colour variants — Obsidian Black, and Purist Blue. For authentication, the device equips a new side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Vivo Y20G — Specs and Cameras

The Y20G embodies a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, which is an octa-core processor that achieves clock speeds of up to 2GHz. For graphics, the SoC uses an Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It claims to be offering 98% more power, image quality and performance as well. For gaming, the CPU further utilizes MediaTek’s HyperEngine Game technology to offer more smooth and enhanced gameplay.

The AI triple rear cameras include a 13MP f/2.2 primary camera, 2MP bokeh camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The selfie shooter on the front incorporates an 8MP sensor. The cameras further support a bunch of scene modes that include — portrait, panorama, live photo, slo-mo, time-lapse and more.

There’s a massive 5000mAh battery that powers the Vivo V20G, which charges through Micro USB. There’s additional Vivo’s 18W fast charge support as well. The other highlights of the device comprise Android 11 based Fun Touch OS 11, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, OTG, FM and GPS.
