Vivo has released a new smartphone which is priced as a mid-ranger, but packs entry-level specifications. The handset in question is Y81, the new Vivo smartphone priced at Rs 12,990. First appeared on 91Mobiles, the new Vivo smartphone has been quietly made available in the select retail stores. It is unknown when the availability will be expanded, but expect it to be quite soon.

Vivo Y81 Specs

The new Vivo smartphone comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ resolution with a 19:9 aspect ratio. With a notch-tastic design, it houses a selfie camera, earpiece, and proximity sensor. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, which is an entry-level processor. It is accompanied by a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot.

As far as the camera department is concerned, it comes with a 13MP single lens rear shooter with f/2.2 aperture and LED Flash. Its front camera is a 5MP snapper for selfies. It runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS. The 3260mAh capacity juice claims to offer a day’s battery life.
