Vivo Y81i with a 6.2-inch display, 2GB of RAM, and Face Unlock might arrive in India soon

Vivo, the Chinese smartphone maker may soon bring the Vivo Y81i, which is believed to be a budget version of its Y81 smartphone launched in August this year. If you have been looking for a budget Vivo phone to buy, you could wait for this smartphone. Let’s talk about the specifications and price point it may come at.

Vivo Y81i specifications

Sporting a 6.2-inches full-view display it will offer a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels boasting a notch design. As far as the internals are concerned, it will be powered by a MediaTek MT6761 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which could be expanded via a microSD card slot.

Vivo seems to be ditching the fingerprint sensor on its Y81i smartphone and would heavily rely on the Face Unlock for biometric security. Talking about the camera department, it will pack a 13MP rear camera accompanied with LED flash. The front camera would be of 5MP resolution and have a support of AI face beauty mode. It promises to offer better selfies by enhancing the skin tone and evening the lighting conditions.

The Y81i would be running on FunTouch 4.0 skin based on the Android 8.1 Oreo OS. It is backed by a 3260 mAh capacity battery. The upcoming Vivo smartphone would be slick at 7.7 mm thickness and would weight just 143 grams.

As far as the Vivo Y81i price and availability in India is concerned, there is not much known except for the fact that it could be priced below Rs 10,000 and available sooner than you think.
