Vivo Z10 with Snapdragon 450 SoC and 24MP selfie camera launched at Rs 14,990

Vivo launched a new handset in the lower-end segment for India called Vivo Z10. The handset is priced Rs 14,990 will be sold in retail stores of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana for now. The handset is priced Rs 14,990 will be sold in retail stores of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana for now. Its key highlights are the FullView display and a Moonlight Selfie camera. 

The Vivo Z10 was listed on the official Vivo India website and it did detail specifications of the new handset. According to that listing, the Vivo Z10 has a 6.0-inch HD+ (720x1440p) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. So, yes, no notch here. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 84.4 percent and is powered by a Snapdragon 450 SoC and 4GB of RAM. The Vivo Z10 has 32GB of onboard storage and also has the option of microSD card expansion.

Software-wise, it runs FunTouch OS 3.2, as usual, with Android 7.1 Nougat which is very disappointing to see in mid-2018. It has a 3,225mAh battery that powers the metal-clad Vivo V7+ look alike.

As for photography, Vivo offers a 16MP rear camera with PDAG and many features like Live Photos, Slow Motion, Ultra HD image upscaling up to 64MP and more. For selfies, it has a 24MP shooter with Moonlight tech to give a soft glow to the user’s face. It also has Face Access which is another term for face unlock as well as Portrait mode.

The Vivo Z10 comes ready with 4G VoLTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, 3.5mm headphone jack and a fingerprint reader.
