Vivo Z1i with Snapdragon 636 SoC launched at Rs 19,560 approximately

The Vivo Z1i did creep up on to the rumour mill very close to its launch date. Now Vivo has made it official. The Vivo Z1i isn’t something very new instead it is carved out of the same bits and pieces as the Vivo Z1. Interestingly, the Z1 is itself a new device with a Snapdragon 660, hence this makes the Vivo Z1i its smaller sibling. Take a look at its specifications below.

Vivo Z1i Specifications 

The Vivo Z1i flaunts a shiny metal-glass build on all sides and it also features a notch like its bigger brother. The notch sits inside a 6.26-inch Full-HD+ display and has a 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution. The processor is downgraded here to a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC that’s aided by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The Z1i has a 3,260mAh battery and runs Android 8.1 Oreo which is heavily skinned by Vivo.

As for the camera, the Vivo Z1i has dual rear cameras of 13MP + 2MP capacity and a 16MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture. Again, this is a downgrade to from the 24MP sensor on the Z1. It also has 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, GPS/ GLONASS.

All this would inevitably lead to a lower price, however, the Vivo Z1i costs 1998 Yuan, which converts to Rs 19,560. It will be on sale from July 7th and comes in Red and Black colours. In contrast, the Vivo Z1 that launched in China retails for 1,798 yuan (approx. Rs 19,200).
