Vivo has launched the Vivo Z3 smartphone in the Chinese market today. The device is a successor to the Vivo Z1 and looks quite interesting. Its smallest variant will sell at a price of RMB 1,598 (Rs 17,000 approx), the 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant will go for RMB 1,898 (Rs 20,000 approx) and the largest variant will cost RMB 2,298 (Rs 24,500 approx). The phone will be available for buying from November 1. However, we do not have any information about its international release.
Vivo Z3: specifications and features
The Vivo Z3 comes with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a waterdrop style notch. The device lacks bezels and looks as premium as any phone in this range. It has a glossy metal back and a fingerprint sensor placed beneath the vertical dual rear camera setup. When it comes to performance, the device is unique as it has two processor options – Snapdragon 670 and Snapdragon 710. The performance is further handled by 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM.
This is not all as the Vivo Z3 takes special care of the gaming department. It has a gaming mode, Picture-in-Picture mode, game keyboard and 4D game shock. The camera department on the phone has a 16MP + 2MP rear setup with an LED Flash. For video calling and selfies, we have a 12MP sensor as well. The cameras are enhanced with various AI features as well. Additionally, the Vivo Z3 has a 3315mAh battery capacity and it runs Android 8.1 Oreo with FunTouch OS 4.5 on top. It comes in three shades – Starry Night Black, Dream Pink and Aurora Blue (gradient).
