Xiaomi has launched its new smartphone in China, it is called Xiaomi CC9. The new handset from the brand is priced at Rs 18,000. It will retail in the country in 3 color variants including White Lover, Dark Prince, and Blue Planet gradient color options.
Talking about the display of the Xiaomi CC9, it is a 6.39-inches display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. This means the pixel density of the screen is at 403 ppi. It is an AMOLED panel, which comes with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen-to-body ratio of the device is at 91%. The company teases that its display has a Capacitive, Multi-touch.
As far as the camera department is concerned, it packs a triple rear camera setup. Where the primary rear camera is of the 48.0MP and secondary rear camera is of 8.0MP. There is another 2MP depth sensor. It comes with a Touch-to-focus, Phase Detection AF Autofocus technology. The rear camera is supported by a Dual LED flash. For selfies, you can make use of the 32.0MP front camera.
Hardware and Software
The Xiaomi CC9 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, which comes with 8 Cores and clocks at 2.2 GHz. It is accompanied by a 6GB of RAM and 128, 256GB of internal storage capacity. It will be running on the MIUI V10.2 (Android 9.0 Pie). Note that the external storage is expandable. It comes with a fingerprint sensor. As far as the battery life is concerned, its 4030mAh battery juice claims a day’s life.

The launch price of the Xiaomi CC9 smartphone is at RMB 1,799 (~Rs 18,000) for the base 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant in China. The higher-end 6GB and 128GB model is available for RMB 1,999 (~Rs 20,000). As of now, there is no word as to when, or even if, the device will make its way to India.
