Xiaomi is finally coming up with its first phone for the Indian market. The company has sent event invites for the February 14th. However, there is a catch. We do not yet know the name of the phone since the poster just has a “5” on it. Can it be the Redmi Note 5? Or does this mean that the Redmi 5 is coming to India?
Redmi Note 5 – all we know
The successor to the Redmi Note 4 has not been leaked yet. As a result, we do not know much about it. The Redmi Note 5, if it launches, is likely to sport an 18:9 aspect ratio display. It is also likely to be powered by either the Snapdragon 625 or the Snapdragon 630 processor.
It is speculated to come with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM variant. It is also expected to have dual rear cameras at its disposal. It will run the MIUI 9 but we do not know about the Android version yet. It might or might not run the Android 8.0 Oreo.
What do you think? Will this phone launch and sway us like its predecessor?
