Reports suggest that the Xiaomi Mi 7 will feature wireless charging and its overall production will begin in February 2018. Apple has already launched the magnificent iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone 8 with wireless charging. Even before Apple, Samsung had already come up with wireless charging in its Galaxy S8 and Note 8. There were speculations that Xiaomi too will come up with a wireless charging technology for its smartphones, but that hasn’t happened yet.
Now we anticipate that the Mi 7 will support wireless charging but its certainty can be proven only after its launch. The Mi 7 will be featuring the same Broadcom chip and NXP transmitter which enables the charging (wireless) for the iPhones of 2017.
There is a probability that the Xiaomi smartphone will feature a glass chassis, the Mi 7 will have a 6-inch display and will run on Snapdragon 845 chipset. Rumours suggest that there will a 6 GB RAM with a 3,350 mAh battery. The Mi 6 also had the same 3,350 mAh battery backup. The device will be around $408 and will feature 3D facial recognition specification. It is likely that the phone can hit the markets by April 2018.
