The Mi 7 is supposedly going to be Xiaomi’s first smartphone to support Snapdragon 845. The smartphone will come in both small and large sizes and will be available on the market in March 2018.
Xiaomi launched the Mi 6 this year and soon after the launch rumours about the release of the Mi 7 and Mi 7 Plus started pouring in. Along with this, there were also speculations about the release of the Mi 6 Plus in 2017. But due to the lack of Snapdragon chipset, Xiaomi is in no mood to launch the Mi 6 Plus variant. Although we are certain that the company will launch Mi 7 and Mi 7 Plus next year.
The Mi 7 will arrive in a 5.65-inch display, on the other hand, Mi 7 Plus will come with a larger screen of 6.01-inch. Mi 7 may support a battery capacity of 3,200 mAh and Mi 7 Plus would support a 3,500 mAh capacity battery. They may support an 18:9 aspect ratio, with glass and metal design combination. These handsets may also support wireless charging, although all this is mere speculation we will once and for all know when the phones are launched.
There will be dual camera set-up and the camera will be enhanced through Artificial Intelligence. The latest rumour about the smartphones is that the Mi 7 and Mi 7 Plus will cost $408 and $453 respectively.
