Xiaomi Mi 7 duo: what we know so far
Previous leaks have given us a fair idea about this upcoming phone. The phone is rumoured to be codenamed “Dipper” and is likely to come with a notch. Yes, Xiaomi will follow the lead of Apple this time. The phone will be premium, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 powering it from within. The Xiaomi Mi 7 will also have a Facial Recognition feature and it will be interesting to see how it functions.
The camera setup on the phone will include a 16MP + 16MP combination on the rear. The main shooter will have AI capabilities as well. We don’t know much about the selfie snapper yet. The phone will have a 3400mAh battery with a support for wireless charging.
The Xiaomi Mi 7 Plus, on the other hand, is codenamed, “Ursa”. This phone’s firmware files revealed the presence of an under-display fingerprint sensor. But now we know that the toned-up version of the phone will also have it. Also, the Mi 7 Plus is likely to carry an advanced Facial Recognition against the ordinary one on the Mi 7.
