The Xiaomi Mi A1 was launched with Nougat out-of-the-box and now the update for Android 8.0 Oreo will roll out by the end of this year.
This update is 1.1. GB in size and includes the December patch as well. Once the company is done testing the update to the beta testers it will be rolled out to everyone in a couple of weeks. The update will bring in key features like autofill, Audio API for Pro Audio, adaptive icons, background limits, PIP-Picture in Picture, and snooze ability.
The device has a 5.5-inch with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It has a dual camera set up with a 12 MP + 12 MP back cameras and a 5 MP front camera with a non-removable 3,080 mAh battery capacity. The smartphone is available in Gold, Black, and Rose-Gold colours and weighs up to 165g. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage with the option of expandable memory via microSD card. It has a fingerprint sensor at the back and Proximity, Light, Accelerometer, Compass, and Gyroscope.
