Xiaomi has officially shared photos of its upcoming Mi Mix 2S on its Weibo account. The account has shared plenty of images with the company’s brand ambassador holding the Mi Mix 2s. From these images, it’s pretty clear that the Mi Mix 2s’ design is not starkly different from that of its predecessor, the Mi Mix 2. Thankfully, the Mix 2s doesn’t come with a hideous notch up top.
The official teaser
Looks like Xiaomi plans to make an iterative upgrade to the Mix 2s by improving the internals of the phone, rather than making drastic hardware changes on the outside. The phone will obviously boast a powerful Snapdragon 845 chipset in it. As we have seen with every new Snapdragon flagship processor variant, we will see improvements to image processing and everyday usage.
Since artificial intelligence the next big thing as far as smartphones are concerned, it’s no doubt that the Mi Mix 2s will also come with it. The phone is also expected to come with dual cameras. The high-end variant of the phone would likely feature 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There are strong rumours that Xiaomi will include wireless charging as well. The battery size will most likely be 3400mAh.
The phone will be showcased at the Centre Pompidou Museum just like its predecessors. In case you didn’t know, the Mi Mix Concept as well as the Mi Mix 2 were added to the same museum in France. The company is also expected to distribute tickets for free.
We will keep you posted about more leaks as and when we keep getting more information.
